Noah’s Courage was founded in 2006. All of the events proceeds are presented to Georgetown University Hospital. In 2008 over $20,000 was raised and donated. The annual Whiffleball Tournament was started in 2006 by Rachael and Chris Grove, whose son Noah was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in 2004 and had his left leg amputated at the knee. Thanks to the hospital, Noah is now cancer free and with the use of a prosthetic leg continues to enjoy all of his favorite sports.
